The Middle East in the new geopolitical landscape: energy, supply chains and investment
Whatever the outcome of the Ukraine invasion, the global geopolitical landscape has changed irrevocably. Is the world going to deglobalize, fragment into cold war blocs or reglobalise into a new network of alliances, partnerships and supply chains? Where does the Middle East sit in this new order? So far, the Gulf is pursuing a strategy of cautious neutrality (and benefiting from high hydrocarbon prices) – but can this last? How should the Middle East’s partners and investors position themselves in 2022 and beyond?

To answer these questions and many more, we are bringing together a panel of the most insightful people we know in a special live webcast on 13 April. We'll be joined by Robert Ryan, BCA's chief commodity and energy strategist, Alia Moubayed, managing director covering economics and fixed income strategy for CEEMEA at Jefferies, and Yazan Abdeen, chief executive officer and portfolio manager at AD Investment Management.
